hi bryan,

we are related to you through my husband, paul’s mom (nancy suzuki, who is cousins with your grandfather). we are missionaries in japan working with the youth here. we were excited when we found out that you were in japan for the world championships and made sure to watch/tape all the events! however, the japanese media gave zero attention to the decathalon and as a result, we didn’t see any footage and had to follow results on the internet. we were so sorry to hear about your injury, but will be rooting and praying for you in beijing! keep shining the Light! your brother and sister in Christ, carol (and paul, too)
