Decathlon: Top-seeded Bryan Clay has a qualifying mark of 8,493. Chris Boyles (Carlisle, Messiah) is seeded 15th with 7,804 points. Former Penn State All-American Ryan Olkowski is 12th seed at 7,877.

what was your best score in high school
Answer:
I never competed in a decathlon in high school, I just did 5 or 6 events at each track meet. I started the dec in college.

How was the Oprah show? Did you like Chicago?
Answer:
The Oprah show was a lot of fun! It was great to be with that many Olympic athlete celebrating what we had all just accomplished in Beijing. I have been to Chicago several times and I always enjoy visiting that city!

How did you train for the olympics. where did you grow up. how long have you been competeing.
Answer:
I have a strict schedule of training that leads up to the Olympics (or any other meet). I grew up in Hawaii. I have been competeing since I was a kid in summer track club!
